Mike Sarasti, Principal

A seasoned technologist, former city executive, and music producer, Mike Sarasti has spent the last 20 years working at the intersection of governance, process innovation, and creativity. Previously, he served as City of Miami’s CIO/Director of Innovation and Technology, leading efforts to transform digital services, streamline IT operations, build process improvement capacity, implement 311 systems, conceptualize smart city solutions, and apply data-driven decision-making.

Maintaining a people-first focus across nearly two decades of municipal work, he has built valuable relationships across cities, businesses, foundations, non-profits, universities, and civic tech organizations.

He writes, produces, and performs in the indie-electro / alt-pop duo Raker and collaborates with other creatives in Miami’s music and cultural scene.
